In a recent episode of "KBS Musci Bank," SM Entertainment's youngest girl group Red Velvet proved that they are spoiled maknaes (which means youngest members) by their popular sister group Girls Generation.
As expected, Girls Generation won the music show's weekly award for its chart-topping and high-selling song "Lion Heart." As the winners, GG was supposed to perform the song once again. However, when the popular group started to sing to the music, Red Velvet members inserted themselves among GG members and also started dancing.
Girls Generation ended up giving their mics to their younger SM Entertainment sisters. Wendy got Yuri's mic and sang the chorus.
The senior girl group stood beside Red Velvet, coaching them how to properly dance to their winning song. Seulgi and Tiffany were having a lion dance showdown at the side while Seolhyun was teaching Irene at the center.
Yeri challenged Yuri on the dance part of the chorus, and Joy was dancing beside Seohyun.
In the end, Yuri gave GG's trophy to Red Velvet's Yeri. The RV member accepted the trophy while jumping like she really won it.
In the end, all 13 girls bowed to the audience. The crowd roared with happiness.
Girls Generation is having their goodbye stage this week for the double title track "Lion Heart" and "You Think." The group had at least 12 music show wins on their recent promotion, Kpop Stars reported.
Red Velvet just dropped "Dumb, Dumb." They will be the only SM girl group promoting next week, Billboard reported.
The two sister girl groups have grown closer because Girls Generation have been present in Red Velvet members' performance presentations when they were rookies. Red Velvet aspires to follow the footsteps of their sister group, The Inquisitr reported.
