Selena Gomez has been very unlucky in love. The 23-year-old singer opened up about her new album "Revival" and her love life, including her on-again-off-again relationship with Justin Bieber for the October issue of Elle Magazine.
In a very open interview, Gomez discussed her relationship with Bieber, 21, and told the magazine that she was still friends with the Canadian pop star and that she would "forever support him and love him."
"We grew up together," Gomez said. "I think people want it to be different ... We're too young for [drama]. Nobody was married. There was no ... I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner."
After she ended things with Bieber, she briefly dated DJ Zedd earlier this year, according to People. While her love life was always to center of conversations before, the singer said she was not concerned with relationships currently.
"Finding somebody is not my main focus," she said. "I've dated people. I've been on a few dates, which is really exciting. But I've never wanted to get into anything serious, because I kind of did that. I have my guard up. I like to meet people in organic settings. Hanging out with a group of people and meeting through mutual people."
Elle magazine was not the only October cover the star landed. She also announced she was on the cover of Wonderland magazine which she called "one of her favorite" covers.
Gomez's album "Revival" is due out Oct. 9.
