With the iPhone 6s and Apple Pencil fresh in our heads, it's hard to forget who's responsible for bringing to life these brilliant technology visions which we all can't seem to live without. Steve Jobs will always be remembered for his innovative mind and his ability to do what nobody ever thought could be done, but it's what went on behind the scenes when he was trying to make Apple happen that Universal Pictures wants the world to see in "Steve Jobs."
The second official trailer has been released, and it allows us to get a glimpse of what life as Steve Jobs in the beginning of his career was really like. From his original idea of the Mac computer, to the discouraging feedback he gets from his team, to his personal life, we finally get to see how it all began.
"What if the computer was a beautiful object? Something you want to look at and have in your home," Jobs, played by Michael Fassbender, asks as the trailer begins. "And what if instead of it being in the right hands, it was in everyone's hands?"
From Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley, to Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, one of the original members or the Mac team, to newbie Katherine Waterston as Chrisann Brennan, the mother of Jobs' first daughter, we finally get our first look at this star-studded cast, according to E! News. Seth Rogen plays co-founder Steve Wozniak and delivers his most dramatic, and impressive, role yet.
"You are the only one who sees the world the same way I do," you hear Jobs tell one of his co-workers, to which they reply, "Nobody sees the world the way you do."
"Steve Jobs" is a biopic about the Apple co-founder that brings us on his journey from the 1984 Macintosh to the 1998 unveiling of the iMac, according to Deadline. It was written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Danny Boyle and is set to hit theaters Oct. 9.
