Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter was captured kissing his wife Rosalyn Carter during an Atlanta Braves game. The images, which went viral, were on the team's Twitter account.

Carter, 90, announced last month that his liver cancer had spread to his brain, saying that "[r]ecent liver surgery revealed that I have cancer that now is in other parts of my body. I will be rearranging my schedule as necessary so I can undergo treatment by physicians at Emory Healthcare," reported Salon. Carter, a longtime fan of the baseball team, was in his usual seat with his wife near the Braves dugout during a 5-0 loss to Toronto. The coupe received a loud cheer when shown on the "kiss cam" video board. The Carters stayed throughout the game, according to NBC News.
"Good to see the President back at the ballpark. Hope he's feeling well," announced one of the Braves commentators, according to Salon. The team also welcomed the former President on Twitter.
"I'm in good spirits. I'm prepared for anything that comes. My wife is a little less prepared than I've been, but she's getting on fine," Carter said at a recent event, talking about his diagnosis and treatment, reported WSB TV.
"In spite of what's going on, it's been kind of wonderful just to know we have that kind of support, and also Jimmy's attitude is helping," Rosalynn Carter said recently when she spoke about her husband's cancer for the first time.
Carter, served as the 39th President of the U.S. between 1977 to 1981. The Nobel Peace Prize was conferred upon him in 2002 for his work with the Carter Centre. The Carter's have been married for 69 years.
