Kim Kardashian Baby, North West: Reality Star ‘Bored’ With New Life? Misses Attention, Limelight

Ever since giving birth, Kim Kardashian's entire world has changed. The new mom has been staying out of the spotlight and seems to have settled into a calmer life with daughter North West and Kanye West. It was rumored that the rapper was responsible for her new, quieter lifestyle but according to a new report by Radar Online, Kardashian isn't happy and has been complaining about how "bored" she is.

"Kim loves being a mom and spending all of her time with the baby," the source said. "But she's really bored! She misses going out all the time to shop or eat and have people fawn all over her."

Many people were shocked to see the once fame-hungry reality star dodging cameras and passing on lucrative deals to show baby Nori to the world. It's no secret that her boyfriend is not a fan of the cameras and constant hounding by the paparazzi.

"Kim really likes the attention she gets from people when she goes out in public or even online, but since Kanye wants her to be more selective about what she's doing it isn't as interactive for her and she misses her old life," the source said. "She wouldn't trade the baby for anything, of course, but she is saying she is bored right now."

Is the reality star being over dramatic? Not quite. According to a 2012 report by the Daily Mail, researchers believe it takes a new mom four months and 23 days before they are used to their new lifestyles. Baby Nori is a little over three months old. So maybe the only thing Kardashian needs is a little more time to continue adjusting to her new role.

"After nearly five months, new mothers bounce back as they have a routine nailed down having found the confidence to be able to deal with every eventuality thrown at them," the Daily Mail writes. "Mothers will learn what their baby's different cries mean, stop worrying about dealing with her child in public, forever be armed with snacks or spare clothes and no longer break down in tears of exhaustion or sheer frustration."

The research was conducted by baby brand Munchkin. Claire Rayner, a spokeswoman for Munchkin told the Daily Mail that oftentimes women are overwhelmed and have a "flurry of mixed emotions" after becoming a mother for the first time.
