Emmy Red Carpet: The 20 Best-Dressed Women of The Night (PHOTOS)

At Sunday night's 2015 Emmy Awards, the women of television came dressed to impress, as they always do. From the "Modern Family" girls of all ages, to our favorite pop star turned actress Lady Gaga, to the inmates of "Orange Is The New Black," the red carpet was filled with some flawless looks.

With more and more women having roles in shows than ever before, it was no surprise that they dominated a lot of the categories that are typically dominated by men. "Veep," which is a show with a female protagonist, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, was one of the night's biggest winning shows. What really made the women stand out, though, was their amazing acceptance speeches. The most memorable speech of the night came from Viola Davis when she won best actress in a drama series for her role on "How to Get Away With Murder." Davis became the first woman of color to win this award, and she'll go down in history for not only that but for her incredibly moving and inspiring speech.

It's safe to say that the women really stole the show this year, from their glam looks to their empowering roles. With so many beautiful stars, inside and out, at one event, it's hard to choose who looked the best, but we've narrowed it down to who we think were the 20 best-dressed ladies of the night, in no particular order.
