Fans will have to wait until the spring of next year to catch season 4 of HBO's hit show, "Game of Thrones," but until then, WinterIsComing.net has a news round-up of who will be joining the Emmy award-winning cast.
Pedro Pascal has been cast as fan favorite character Oberyn Martell, as announced this summer, but will Lord Blackmont be accompanying him to King's Landing? The Eamonn Bedford Agency recently confirmed that British actor Daniel Rabin will be playing the role of Lord Blackmont, a bannerman of House Martell.
Several weeks ago, an interview with IFTN confirmed that Jane McGrath will be playing a wildling woman, playing a character who does not appear in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R. R. Martin, a new character named "Sissy." It's yet unclear whether or not she'll be a daughter of Craster or part of Mance Rayder's army.
As for creepy Craster's wives, adult actress and model Saffie Jacobs confirmed on her Twitter that she's set to appear as the dead wildling's wife. Adult actress Jessica Jensen will also be filming in Belfast for a new, as yet unannounced role.
English actress and redhead Sarine Sofair will be playing Lhara in one of the episodes directed by Alik Sakharov, who will direct episodes six and seven of season 4.
The cast has already begun filming in Croatia with a number of brand new locations in progress, including an area believed that will be used in Daenerys Targaryen's storyline, as production will not be returning to Morocco, at least not for season 4.
As for what fans can look forward to story-wise, members of the cast including Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) hinted at a bloody, intense follow-up to the Red Wedding, a huge event in the "Game of Thrones" storyline that will surely shock those that have not yet read the book, "A Storm of Swords," the second half of which season 4 covers.
"Really big shock deaths," actor Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) confirmed. "And more fighting than there's ever been. I don't know if [the next big wedding] could be as bloody as the last one. But it is quite eventful."
