A stage backdrop collapsed while Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina was giving a speech Sunday. Several people and at least one security guard rushed forward to assist her, according to the New York Daily News.
Fiorina was speaking at the National Association of Women Business Owners in San Antonio when a huge curtain fell on her. "Is everybody all right?" she asked after recollecting herself. She then kept right on with her speech, reported the New York Daily News. No injuries were reported.
"It appears the drapes and poles fell. Carly wasn't injured," said a spokesperson for Fiorina's campaign, according to CNN.
Earlier the same weekend, Fiorina was hit with condom wrappers by Planned Parenthood supporters during an event in Iowa.
She is currently polling in third place in the Republican primary election, which will not be held in any state until 2016. Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, has never served in a political office.
"Trump!" said one audience member when the curtain fell on Fiorina, according to the Daily Mail.
"Trump, Carson, it could have been lots of people," she said, referring to Donald Trump and Ben Carson, the first- and second-place poll leaders in the race.
