There are many Oliver (Stephen Amell)/Laurel (Katie Cassidy) fans out there and in a recent promo provided exclusively to TVGuide.com, they get a nice scene between the two characters.
They’re standing at what appears to be Tommy’s (Colin Donnell) grave site and holding hands.
Unfortunately, it’s what she says while they’re holding hands that turns a good moment for Oliver/Laurel into a bad thing for Oliver (Stephen Amell):
“There’s only one archer left and I’m going to help my boss catch him.”
Oliver must be getting tired of dating the girl who is trying to take hi down at the same time. “Arrow” fans will remember last season when he was in a relationship with McKenna Hill (Janina Gavankar), a police detective subject to the vendetta of Laurel’s father Quentin (Paul Blackthorne).
Although Tommy has passed and a Laurel/Oliver relationship seems pretty logical, things may not go smoothly for the two since Laurel is still dealing with the tragic death of her former boyfriend.
"She has definitely grieved a bit and tried to deal with the death of Tommy and the Glades being destroyed, and I feel she has mainly focused her energy on working to distract herself so she does not have to deal with it. She definitely goes into a darker place," Cassidy recently told EOnline. "You see her doing stuff that you would never imagine or think she would do, but it's credited because Tommy passed."
Will Laurel and Oliver ever be able to live happily ever after?
Season 2 of “Arrow” premieres Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 9/8c on The CW.
