Bart Jansen gained Internet notoriety for his quirky innovations, turning taxidermy into high flying drones, and he claims to be working on another creation - a stuffed badger submarine, according to the Mirror.
In 2012 the Netherlands artist used his know-how to turn his pet cat Orville, that was run over by a car, into an custom made quad-copter, according to Business Insider.
The bizarre entity was followed by an ostrich-copter, and in 2014 he helped create a flying mouse for a young boy who lost his pet.
"I had to then fit the skin around it and found that in some places I had too much foam and in others not enough. The skin then got a bit 'mildewy' and I had to take it back to the taxidermist to treat it," he said.
Some haven't taken so well to his Frankenstein-like creations.
"People keep on saying it's animal cruelty, but my cat was already dead and I didn't kill him. I really was sad, but that didn't stop me from making a completely absurd monument," said Jansen.
The project, if completed, may not be exposed to the public, as the badger is a protected species in the Netherlands and making a taxidermy animal waterproof is a different obstacle altogether, according to the Independent.
