A thirsty leopard got its head stuck inside a metal pot in a village in Rajasthan's Rajsamand district in India Wednesday as it wandered into human habitat in search of water.
The confused and scared wild animal endured the unwanted utensil for six hours as curious villagers looked on, snapping pictures and taking videos as it struggled to get the pot off.
Forest officials eventually tranquilized the leopard and managed to take the pot off its head, according to The Huffington Post.
"The male leopard is about three years old. He is being kept under observation. He has been checked by vets and seems to be fine," District Forest Officer of Udaipur range Kapil Sharma said, NDTV reported.
"He will be released in the forest later. It is difficult to say where he came from because the Kumbhalgarh sanctuary is about 20 kilometres away," Sharma added.
The incident follows almost four months after a leopard fell into a 15-foot deep well in a Karnatakan village in India and was rescued by villagers and forest officials, according to The Telegraph.
