The CBS Broadcast Center offices in midtown Manhattan were evacuated momentarily after they received a bomb threat phone call on Wednesday evening.
Officers from the New York Police Department told employees to leave the building at around 9:15 a.m., where they waited for about an hour until they were told to return, according to CBS News.
The workers were notified of the bomb threat by a news team that was in field who heard about it through a police radio.
Meanwhile, police authorities located an empty video accompanied by a note that claimed to be from ISIS at 10 Columbus Circle where the CNN offices are located, according to the New York Daily News.
Earlier in the day, several buildings in Glendale, Calif., including the ABC7 Broadcast Center, were evacuated by police authorities after a similar bomb threat was made.
An unknown man had called the offices of the Glendale Police Department at around 1:52 a.m. and said that there were numerous bombs inside a building at 500 Circle Seven Drive, which accommodates ABC7 and ABC's West Coast ventures.
Evacuations began shortly, and sniffing dogs and a bomb squad entered the building for inspection. A few hours later, everyone was allowed to return inside and normal operations resumed, ABC7 reported.
