The Good Wife Season 5 Spoilers: Alicia and Cary Will Struggle at the Begininng: Three Things You Need to Expect Heading into Sunday's Premiere

Season 5 of “The Good Wife” is sure to bring the show's usual amount of drama mixed in with a bunch of fireworks. So, as we get ready to see how Alicia’s (Julianna Margulies) decision has affected everyone, here are three things you need to expect heading into this season:

No. 1—Expect Anger:

In this promo, it appears that at least one person is not too pleased about Alicia’s decision—Will (Josh Charles). “I hired you. I pushed for you,” he tells her after clearing off the desk in front of him in a manner that’s anything but calm. I don’t think he’ll be the only one peeved at Alicia’s decision. Let’s see how the rest of the firm reacts.

No.2—Expect Unresolved Feelings/Issues:

Part of the reason Alicia is moving away from Lockhart and Gardner is because it will be very difficult to be near Will and move on at the same time. “I think she knows as long as she's at Lockhart and Gardner, there's no way to make her marriage work,” Margulies recently told EOnline. “Because she’ll always be seeing Will.” Also, in the promo mentioned above, it appears that Peter (Chris Noth) may have another round of temptation on his hands. Will he be able to stay faithful?

No.3—Expect Initial Struggles:

According to an interview Margulies did with TV Guide, Alicia really wants her and Cary (Matt Czuchry) to be like her former bosses. “The biggest thing is going to be watching her realize that her and Cary [aren’t] Will and Diane (Christine Baranski),” Margulies said referring to Alicia “and she really wants to be Will and Diane.”

Season 5 of the “The Good Wife” premieres Sunday, Sept. 29 at 10/9c on CBS.
