So long "Graceland." After three seasons on the air, USA Network has pulled the plug on the drama-action crime series starring actors Aaron Tveit and Daniel Sunjata as undercover agents living together in a Southern California beach house, known as Graceland.
Show's creator Jeff Eastin took to Twitter Thursday to break the news to fans, writing, "Just got the word, there will be no more #GracelandTV. Thank you to the best cast, crew and fans in television."
"Graceland" concluded its 13-episode third season on Sept. 17. USA Network has not released an official statement over the cancellation; however a source told Entertainment Weekly that the show suffered from low ratings.
"Creatively, it was a great show that had a successful run for three seasons, but the ratings didn't justify bringing it back from a financial perspective," the source said.
"Graceland" debuted as a summer series in 2013, averaging 4.3 million viewers in its first season. Ratings dropped to 1.5 million viewers for the third season. The show's finale episode drew 913,000 viewers and a 0.33 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Eastin told THR last month that he was hopeful "Graceland" would be picked up for a fourth season, saying, "Our numbers keep creeping up; I'm very happy about that." Following the cancellation news, the casts took to Twitter to thank everyone involved in the series.
"I send my love and enormous gratitude to my cast, crew, creators, @FOXTV, @USA_Network! Had the time of my life!!!" Tveit wrote. "And extra love and thanks to the greatest fans ever!!"
Erik Valdez, who played Carlito Solano, tweeted, "Thanks to @jeffeastin for taking a chance on me and being so supportive along the way..."
"Graceland" also starred Vanessa Ferlito, Manny Montana and Serinda Swan.
