Gary Oldman Finalizes Divorce From Fourth Wife

Gary Oldman and his wife, Alexandra Edenborough, have finalized their divorce after six years of marriage. This was the fourth marriage and divorce for the Oscar-nominated actor.

The split between the two was finalized on Tuesday, Sept. 29, when the "Dark Knight" actor gave Edenborough over $3.3 million, according to the Associated Press. The actor also agreed to divide up numerous assets and kept two homes and several vehicles.

Oldman, 57, and the much younger Edenborough married back in 2008 on New Years Eve and separated last summer, Us Weekly reported. Edenborough, a songwriter, was the one to file for divorce in January 2015.

Oldman was first married to British actress Lesley Manville from 1987 to 1990 and had a son Alfie, 26, with her. He then married actress Uma Thurman in 1990 and divorced her two years later. Oldman then married his third wife, Donya Fiorentino, and had two sons with her, Gulliver, 18 and Charlie, 16.

Oldman told The Independent newspaper in 2014 that he was not cut out for marriage in his younger years.

"I'm not proud to say that though," the British native said. "But I've had a few goes at it now, so I've probably learnt something from the first three. Practice makes perfect. Isn't that what they say? I'm not proud that this is my fourth marriage. But this is a good one. Hopefully, my last one."
