Miranda Lambert just expanded her family. The newly single Lambert posted on Instagram "Play me a song Curtis Loew Curtis Loew" ... When your friend @harps226 comes to visit and says 'oh by the way, I picked up a stray kitten on the highway in Arkansas and it's in the garage.' And then she smiles this innocent smile. Guess who has a kitten now?"
So we get to meet little Curtis Loew, Lambert's latest rescue. The animal lover can't help herself, just like other animal lovers. A sob story and an orphaned pet is just a new family member waiting to happen.
Lambert, 31, credits her friend, Harper Elizabeth Lundy, for rescuing Curtis, according to Today. What a scary time it must have been for the little guy to be on an Arkansas highway.
Well, he is now one lucky cat. Lambert's love of animals is well known, besides having her MuttNation Foundation, Lambert is active with Pedigree's shelter improvement and feeding programs, expanding shelters and helping to feed animals across the country.
The country star already boasts seven dogs, according to Us Weekly, so adding little Curtis Loew was just a drop in the bucket to Lambert.
Seeing the sweet picture Lambert posted on Instagram melted a few hearts, Billboard reported. We think Lambert's is melting, too, as she cuddles with this adorable new addition to her family.
