Lady Gaga tackled her first major acting role in the upcoming season of "American Horror Story." The singer raved about her role and new opportunity at the premiere of "American Horror Story: Hotel" and said it made the her feel "so alive."
"It's been so fun," she told the Associated Press at the Los Angeles premiere of the FX series on Saturday, according to Entertainment Weekly. "Everybody on this cast has been really open and available to me in a very honest way, so I'm able to be myself in a way I feel like I haven't been in a really long time, so they are just making me feel so alive."
On the red carpet for the fifth installment of Ryan Murphy's Emmy-winning show, Gaga said she was just excited to be a part of the show and called the fifth season a masterpiece.
"Everybody on this cast has been really open and available to me in a very honest way, so I'm able to be myself in a way I feel like I haven't been in a really long time, so they are just making me feel so alive," Gaga said.
The newfound actress brought along her fiancée, "Chicago Fire" star Taylor Kinney, to the event with her where she gushed about the actor.
"I'm so happy that he's here and he's just been really supportive and teaching me everything that I could ever learn about TV," Gaga told "Access Hollywood."
Gaga and Kinney got engaged earlier this year on Valentine's Day.
"He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES," Gaga captioned an Instagram photo of her huge engagement ring.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" premieres Wednesday at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
