Macklemore just broke the Internet in the most adorable way possible! The 32-year-old rapper posted a heartwarming photo of himself and his 4-month-old daughter napping. "There is nothing better," he wrote.
Macklemore, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, and wife Tricia Davis welcomed Sloane Ava Simone May 29, according to People. When she was born, Macklemore couldn't stop gushing over his baby girl on his band's website, and even wrote a song about her called "Growing Up (Sloane's Song)" with Ed Sheeran.
"There is nothing like the joy and happiness that comes from bringing a baby into this universe," he wrote at the time. "She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew were possible. She is the love of my life. This song is for her."
When he and Davis got married June 27, she took to Instagram to announce the exiting news with another adorable photo of her husband and daughter. "We had our baby girl on May 29th...got married on June 27th once the Supreme Court rules same sex couples could too...And now new music," she wrote. "Thank you all for being patient, this year has been incredible so far, we love you."
In August, MTV News caught up with the rapper on what life as a new parent was like. "She's a big baby," he said. "She's a 10-pound baby, and [with] a big-ass head and I was like, 'This is, this is my child.' It's this unconditional love that happens instantaneously."
