Hillary Clinton Reveals Gun Control Plan In New Hampshire

As President of the United States, Hillary Clinton would create new gun control laws, according to Yahoo News. She unveiled her plan during a speech today at New Hampshire's Manchester Community College.

Clinton's plan would include universal background checks for gun owners. She would also take measures to regulate the sale of guns online.

It was just last week that 10 people, including the gunman, were fatally shot at a community college in Oregon, as previously reported by HNGN.

During her speech, Clinton invited the mother of a child who was killed at the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting to join her on the stage.

"So many of the parents of these precious children who were murdered have taken the unimaginable grief that they have been burying and have tried to be the voices that we need to hear, and I want you to introduce yourself and maybe talk about what you and other parents are trying to do to get the changes that are necessary," she said. Clinton teared up during this part of the speech, reported Yahoo News.

"This epidemic of gun violence knows no boundaries, knows no limits of any kind," said Clinton, according to the Hill. "How many people have to die before we actually act? Before we come together as a nation?"

Her plan is wide-ranging and calls for sweeping changes. Clinton also wants to get rid of legislation that protects gun makers, dealers and distributors from liability suits, according to Fox News.
