Even though it has been about nine months since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in her bathtub, and almost three months since she tragically passed, the investigation on what truly caused her death continues, and her boyfriend Nick Gordon is getting all of the blame.
Gordon is currently involved in a lawsuit over the claim that he gave Bobbi Kristina a "toxic cocktail," which killed her, and there's now a chance he could be charged with murder, a source has told People.
A grand jury in Georgia is currently investigating Gordon so they can decide, "possibly this week," if he will be facing any charges in relation to her death.
While the exact charges are not yet known, the district attorney does want to go for murder charges, a source explained to Us Weekly. The DA is also "consulting with legal experts to see if murder charges would stick."
Gordon believes the family is incorrectly blaming him, as they continue to say all of this to make people believe it was his fault, but he still retains his innocence.
"The Brown family has painted him a murderer, a habitual batterer of women, a seducer of young white females, a thief and/or con man fueled by monetary gain, and a chemist capable of making a toxic cocktail," Gordon says in legal documents obtained by TMZ. He has asked the judge to discontinue the $40 million wrongful death lawsuit until real evidence is found and they come to a legal conclusion.
Just last month, we found out that The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office had officially determined the cause of Bobbi Kristina's death, but the findings were ordered sealed by a judge. It is unclear if her death was declared a homicide or not, but if it was, Gordon will most likely be the one facing the charges.
