Keanu Reeves finally made a sequel to his hit movie "Speed," but it was not the sequel everyone hoped for. Last night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the host and Reeves made a special parody of the 1995 hit film called "A Reasonable Speed."
Kimmel and Reeves faced off in the parody, with Reeves playing the good guy and Kimmel playing the villain. Kimmel and Reeves must obey the law of the road in "the first movie ever produced by the California Highway Patrol." Kimmel made sure to look both ways before he crossed the road in his car and was even out-raced by a guy on a skateboard! The drama escalated when Kimmel decided to answer his phone while he was driving, only to get hit by a bus.
"Never talk and drive," the actor said to the camera and then winked.
The actor also discussed the reason why he turned down the opportunity to star in "Speed 2," saying that he loved working with "Speed" co-star Sandra Bullock and director Jan de Bont, but he could not get behind the plot of the sequel.
"I didn't get to be in that. Well I decided not to be in that," he said. "It was about a cruise ship and I was like okay, speed cruise ship ... not so fast ... cruise ship is even slower than a bus."
