Pippa Middleton and Nico Jackson have split after three years of dating. Middleton, who is the sister of Princess Kate, and Jackson were finding it hard to spend a lot of time together, according to People. Jackson, 37, currently works in Switzerland, and long distance just wasn't working for them.
"It was mostly due to geographical issues," a source told Us Weekly. "They were rarely together since his move [to Switzerland] and it just caused too much strain on their relationship. They still love and respect each other."
Rumors started to go around back in 2013 that the two were engaged after just six months of dating, according to the New York Daily News. However, sources close to the family quickly shut these rumors down.
The couple was last spotted together in September while out on a PDA-filled date night in London. Since then, though, Middleton, 32, has been spotted out several times with her guy friends, like Tom Kingston, and even some of her ex-boyfriends, including Alex Loudon and James Matthews.
She and Loudon were spotted out to lunch just days after her last public siting with Jackson, People reported at the time. Loudon, who is a former professional cricket player and broker, is the same guy that Middleton brought to her sister's royal wedding. They broke up just two months after the iconic wedding when he just couldn't handle Pippa's newfound fame. They had also dated for about three years.
