Donald Trump: Guns And Business On 'Face The Nation'

"I like to have myself protected," Donald Trump said on the topic of guns and gun control. He has a concealed weapon permit, and says he carries a gun "sometimes," according to Yahoo! News.

Trump appeared on CBS's "Face the Nation" Sunday when he spoke about guns, a topic that has been discussed more recently because of recent shootings around the country. "I feel much better being armed," he said during the interview.

Trump also spoke about his plans for the presidency, according to CNN. If he wins the election, he says, he'll turn his business over to his children. "I would not even think about this business. It would be so insignificant to me, compared to making our country great again," he said.

The real estate mogul has laid out his opinion on gun control in the past, according to Inquisitr. "It's often argued that the American murder rate is high because guns are more available here than in other countries. Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea because only the law-abiding citizens would turn in their guns and the bad guys would be the only ones left armed. The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions," Trump said.
