A small plane crashed into a trailer park near Lake Worth, Fla. Tuesday, engulfing two mobile homes in fire and resulting in "an unknown number of victims," said Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto, according to The Sun Sentinel.
The incident was captured on a surveillance camera, which shows the aircraft flying on its side before crashing into the Mar Mak Colony Club.
The Red Cross said it was providing "emergency assistance" to two families. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen also confirmed the accident but said that she had no further details.
Domingo Galicia said he was in his trailer when the plane crashed into the bedroom where his 21-year-old daughter Banny was asleep.
"I heard the motor sounded really bad and then it came, 'boom' and it fell on top of the house," Galicia said, CBS Miami reported. He said that the flames and smoke from the wreckage pushed him back, and he never heard a sound from his daughter.
Arthur Grimes, who said that his friend lived in the mobile home park, saw the aircraft falling out of the sky, crashing into the trailer park and then bursting into a ball of fire.
Firefighters started an "aggressive attack" against the blaze and managed to bring the fire "under control," keeping exposures to a minimum to the two homes. "No surrounding homes were affected." Borroto said, according to WPTV.
FAA and NTSB officials were due to arrive at the crash site Wednesday morning to investigate the plane crash.
