In case you can't wait for Monday night, ESPN has released a few "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" teasers in anticipation of the next official trailer premiering during "Monday Night Football."
The teasers all have a snippet of new footage including Finn (John Boyega) sizing up Poe (Oscar Isaac), Rey (Daisy Ridley) and BB-8 witnessing a flyover of Tie Fighters and BB-8 rolling through an abandoned junkyard.
The second official trailer for "The Force Awakens" will debut during the NFL game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants. ESPN has not given a specific time when the trailer will air.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will hit theaters on Dec. 18. The seventh installment of the legendary sci-fi series, directed by J.J. Abrams, will feature stars from the original trilogy including Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Harrison Ford, reprising one of his most well known roles, Han Solo.
