Rocker Glenn Danzig allegedly assaulted another fan, this time at a Danzig show in Montreal, TMZ reported. The rock god reportedly punched fan Neil Dalton after he was caught snapping photos of the frontman during his set, disregarding his famous "no photo" rule at concerts. Dalton posted an explanation of the encounter along with photos of his injuries to his personal Facebook page.
"So I went to Danzig last night. Including the 100 dollars I spent on his merch plus the tickets time of work and traveling to Montreal to see him this is the price you pay for taking a photo of Danzig," Dalton posted on Facebook along with a graphic photo of his injuries.
Dalton was reportedly warned not to take photos multiple times, witnesses told music site Metal Injection. Although there are many conflicting reports, many of them seem to agree that Dalton was eventually escorted out of the venue by Danzig's security, which is when he claimed he was assaulted by Danzig himself.
The fan filed a police report with Montreal police and they are investigation the case, according to TMZ.
This isn't the first time Danzig has been accused of attacking fans and photographers. He reportedly chased a photographer off the stage during his set at the 2012 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, music site Consequence of Sound reported. In July of this year, Danzig placed another fan in a headlock after he realized the fan had snapped a photo of him.
