Drunk Burglar Covered In Cupcake Frosting Arrested In Michigan

A Michigan woman who was under the influence was arrested after she drunkenly broke into a house in Alpena early Sunday morning.

The event began when the woman burst into the home on Lewis Street and, in her beleaguered attempts at stealing from the house, awkwardly knocked over multiple trays of cupcakes and other items in the household, according to The Daily Meal.

The homeowner heard the noise from the kitchen and then saw the unidentified woman, who immediately fled the house.

Alpena Police responded to a call about a possible breaking and entering. They, along with Michigan State Police troopers, started searching the area for the woman.

State police were able to track the woman down a few blocks from where the attempted robbery took place and was covered with cupcake frosting, Michigan Live reported.

The state police described her as "highly intoxicated and had cupcake frosting and cake all over her torso and legs."

The woman, who remains unidentified, was taken to the Alpena County Jail and will be facing charges on malicious destruction of property and unlawful entry, according to the New York Daily News.
