There haven't been really been love interests for Olivia’s (Kerry Washington) team members outside of herself, Abby (Darby Stanchfield) and Huck (Guillermo Diaz). However, according to TVLine, that could change. Quinn (Katie Lowes) may soon find someone.
Lowes told the website she’s recently begun sharing scenes with someone who fans haven’t really seen her with before.
“I can’t tell you who, because it’s so scandalous, but I’m so excited,” she teased. “It happens in, like, Episode 6 or 7, and you’re never gonna guess, you’re never gonna guess! We just started [earlier this month] and it was awesome!”
As of right now, Lowes’ character is more worried about how she and the other gladiators in suits are going to deal with Jeanine’s current problem. (For those of you who don’t remember Jeanine is the White House staffer who Mellie and Cyrus along with Olivia’s team, chose to label as the president’s mistress.)
In a separate interview Lowes defended the team’s decision, hinting that they didn’t really have another choice.
"What the hell else was going to happen?" Lowes told TV Guide. "There wouldn't be any money to pay the electric bill. None of us would get paid. Where would we get hired elsewhere?
Lowes added that the team didn't only do it for themselves.
“This is for our livelihood that we needed to do it. It was definitely ballsy and crazy, but at the end of the day, it gets the light off Olivia Pope, and I really think they think they can fix it."
On tonight’s episode both Olivia and Fitz are going to do things to help Jeanine (Samantha Sloyan). Get more info on what moves they will make here.
