Leah Remini Reveals Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes Wedding Details In Scientology Tell-All

Leah Remini revealed shocking details about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' 2006 wedding in her new tell-all memoir, the New York Daily News reported. In an excerpt from "Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology," Remini recounted her experience at the former couple's Italian ceremony.

Remini claimed that Cruise and Holmes' daughter Suri, who was a baby at the time, cried on the floor of a bathroom for more than five minutes. Three women surrounded Suri and showed little concern, according to the Daily News. Remini reportedly convinced the women to pick Suri up and feed her a bottle of warm milk.

She also claimed that the Church of Scientology convinced her to invite her good friend, actress/singer Jennifer Lopez, and her husband at the time, Marc Anthony, to the star-studded nuptials. Church officials allegedly tried to separate Lopez from Remini in order to convert her to Scientology.

Holmes reportedly left Cruise waiting for 20 minutes at the altar, which left guests feeling uncomfortable and at one point, Lopez asked Remini if she thought Holmes would even show up.

Scientologist Norman Starkey officiated the wedding ceremony, according to Us Weekly, and he allegedly was seen "humping" actress Brooke Shields while the two were on the dance floor.

Remini also recalled a car trip to the airport that she shared with Bella and Connor Cruise, the two adopted children Cruise shares with his ex-wife, actress Nicole Kidman. During the ride, Remini asked Bella if she had contact with Kidman recently.

"Not if I have a choice," snapped Bella, as reported by the Daily News. "Our mom is a f---ing SP." In church terminology, SP stands for "Suppressed Person" and they are generally viewed as designated enemies.

After Cruise and Holmes' wedding, Remini claimed that Holmes and other wedding guests filed "knowledge reports" against her, Salon reported. A "knowledge report" is an official complaint within the Church of Scientology.

Remini's tell-all memoir, "Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology," is out now.
