Tom Cruise Movie Trailer On 'Jack Reacher' Set Catches Fire

Actor Tom Cruise experienced a pre-Halloween fright on Friday when one of the trailers on the set for "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" in New Orleans burst into flames.

Emergency responders were quick to arrive on the scene to extinguish the blaze, which apparently began at a wardrobe trailer. Cruise was at a trailer that was nearby throughout the fire. There were no reports of injuries, according to TMZ.

This isn't the only on-set disaster Cruise has experienced this year, as a plane that carried several crew members for his film "Mena" crashed in Columbia in September, killing two people. Cruise was on a different plane when the crash occurred, according to Gossip Cop.

Meanwhile, on the same night the trailer caught, ex-Scientology member Leah Remini revealed additional details regarding the actor and the church. Remini explained that Cruise was the reason why she left the controversial church and that she turned on the faith after Cruise married Katie Holmes in 2006.

"I thought, 'I now see where the cracks are in our Church, and it's (Church leader) David Miscavige, it's Tom Cruise.' They were bringing down Scientology," Remini said in an interview with ABC News' "20/20," according to the New York Daily News. "Being critical of Tom Cruise is being critical of Scientology itself. You are a person who is anti the aims and goals of Scientology. You are evil."
