Sam Claflin and his wife Laura Haddock are expecting their first child, and they decided to break the news with a very special red carpet appearance.
While at the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" premiere in London on Thursday, the 29-year-old actor, who plays Finnick in the popular film series, and Haddock happily showed off her baby bump, according to Us Weekly. Haddock stunned in a form-fitting bedazzled dress, while Claflin looked just as handsome in a black suit. The couple took several photos with huge smiles on their faces as they held her growing belly.
"Yep, it's now out, I'm going to be a grandpa," his father, Mark, tweeted. Just a minute later, his mom Sue also shared the news on Twitter. "So I can at last announce," she wrote. "I'm going to be a nana!!"
Claflin and Haddock married in July 2013, according to E! News. At the time, the two had been keeping their relationship very private. It was unclear how long they had been together or when they met; all that was known was that they had been engaged for more than a year.
