Adele performed "Hello," her record-breaking single, live for the first time for a new BBC special called "Adele at the BBC" hosted by Graham Norton. It marked the British singer's first live performance in three years.
The special is not set to air until Adele's highly anticipated album "25" is released on Nov. 20, but the station did release a teaser of the hour-long special that features the Grammy Award-winning artist belting out the emotional lyrics to her latest hit song.
The clip also features a sneak peak of Adele's interview with Norton in which they talk about her new album and her long-awaited return to the music world.
"It was that thing of do I or don't I want to go back to my music. Obviously I do. I just wanted to make sure that everything was in place for me to do it so that I could do it properly," the 27-year-old said of her comeback. "I can't do anything else. This is all that I like doing."
In addition to her BBC performance, Adele will come to the U.S. later this month for a handful of appearances. She will perform at Radio City Music Hall on Nov. 17. The performance will be taped for another broadcast, "Adele Live in New York City" and will air on Dec. 14 on NBC. She will also be the musical guest on the Nov. 21 episode of "Saturday Night Live," the Nov. 23 "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Today" on Nov. 25.
