Will Smith Music Tour: Tells Ellen DeGeneres Plans To Reunite With DJ Jazzy Jeff (VIDEO)

Many may just know Will Smith as the phenomenal actor he is today, but back in the 80s he was in a hip-hop duo with Dj Jazzy Jeff and even though the two recorded five albums together, they never got the chance to go on tour, until now.

Last month, Smith, 47, shocked his fans by dropping his first song in 10 years and making his return to music by appearing on a remix of Bomba Estero's "Fiesta." He then revealed that he had been back in the studio and while on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday, he confirmed that he and Jeff would finally be going on tour.

"We never actually had the chance to go out and do a full tour," he told the host. "So I really want to get out there and do it for real."

Back in the early 90s, his "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" schedule prevented him from touring, but there's no better time than now for him and Jeff to reunite. He even said that he'd be mixing in some old music with some new stuff he's been keeping "a stash" of.

Around the same time in October when Smith made his musical return, Jeff hinted that the two could be reuniting. "The time is right on so many different levels," he told Entertainment Weekly. "It's simple as Will has been my partner for 30-something years. I've been waiting for him to just say, 'Let's go.'"
