The West Indies' Sri Lanka tour has been disastrous so far. It lost Test and ODI series to home side by 2-0 and 3-0 respectively. They are now desperate to register its first win of tour.
Marlon Samuel's century in the third ODI has gone in vain as the hosts beat West Indies by 19 runs completing 3-0 whitewash on Nov. 7, according to NDTV Sports.
In a blow to the West Indies, leg-spinner Samuel Badree, the top-raked T20 bowler in the world, has been ruled out of the T20 series. He is reportedly suffering from dengue fever.
"Badree was named in the original 15-man squad for the two-match series but is unavailable due to illness," the West Indies Cricket Board said in a statement, according to Cricinfo.
