On the season premiere of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," Kenya Moore proved that drama will find a way to move on with or without "OG" housewife NeNe Leakes. Moore butted her nose into cast mate Cynthia Bailey's troubled marriage and insulted returning cast mate Shereé Whitfield at Bailey's launch party, while Porsha Williams enjoyed time with her new younger, football playing beau and Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker documented their new pregnancy.
After years of trying, Burruss and Tucker decided to try IVF treatments in order to conceive their first child together (they each have a daughter from previous relationships) and they were successful. Burruss allowed cameras into one of her prenatal checkups, where her doctor told her that she needed to ease her workload during her pregnancy because of her fibroids.
"Any time you're over 35 years old, they say it's a high-risk pregnancy," Burruss said in her on-camera interview.
Porsha Williams switched roles as she went from being a sugar baby to a sugar mama. The 34-year-old Dish Nation co-host started courting Buffalo Bills football player Duke Williams, who is 10 years younger. Though they've only been dating for one month, Porsha set up a romantic date in a hotel room and showered her new man with chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne to talk Duke into meeting her family, who don't approve because of the age difference.
Cynthia Bailey and her husband Peter Thomas are going through a rough patch after a video showing Thomas cozying up next to another woman at his restaurant leaked online. The couple is attempting to work its marital problems, but when Thomas arrived late to the launch party for Cynthia Bailey Eyewear, it was Moore who grilled him about his whereabouts.
"I strongly believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, but the way Peter is behaving it seems to be the behavior of a guilty person," Moore said in her on-camera interview.
Moore then turned her sights on Shereé Whitfield, who was also in attendance at the party. She confronted her about the home that Whitfield is building in Moore's neighborhood, which Moore said is an eyesore because it's been under renovation for four years. She insulted Whitfield and insinuated that she hasn't finished building her home because of financial reasons, and Whitfield hit back by saying that Moore was building her home in a "ditch."
"And I will be in the ditch in three months and you will still be in a tent outside cause your b---h a-- can't move in yet," Moore said - and the housewives had to step in between the two ladies.
