It's a sad Kpop Monday for "Sunny FM Date" listeners. "Sunny is leaving 'FM Date,'" MBC said. "Her last show will be on the 15th. We have yet to decide on who will be following her."
Since May of last year, Girls' Generation's Sunny has been the DJ of her own radio show, fans have been enjoying her program, reports All Kpop.
The most talked-about episodes of the show include Sunny's session with fellow Girls' Generation members where GG's quirks and secrets were revealed and Hyoyeon and Seohyun proved to be total dorks.
Sunny also interviewed Goo Hara when the KARA maknae debuted with "Chocolate Chip Cookie." The two veteran idols recalled their younger days and made the listeners feel nostalgic.
Sunny's bright and cheerful personality made her a well-loved DJ. Understandably, the aegyo queen has to prioritize her group's activities.
"Sunny is leaving her MBC Radio FM4U 'FM Date'. Girls' Generation will be going on a concert tour starting in Korea and then continue with a Japanese tour and an Asia tour. She'll be incredibly busy, so she has decided to leave the show," says SM Entertainment.
Meanwhile, here's one memorable episode from the program.
