Mumford & Sons announced some big and exciting news for their American fans: The British band is heading out on the road for a U.S. tour. "An Arrow Though the Heartland tour" will kick off in April and to get fans excited, they dropped their third single from their album "Wilder Mind," titled "Ditmas".
"Touring the United States of America in many ways fulfills the childhood dream of what touring might be like," Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett said in a statement. "Rolling from one great city to the next, each with its own personality and uniqueness whilst remaining familiar enough at the same time. Waking up every morning with a conversation amongst us about who wants to visit that bookshop or the ultimate music shop or whatever the various cities had to offer."
The band will play a series of shows through the heartland of the United States in April before they play a single show in Saratoga Srpings, New York, in June. Blake Mills will open all shows except the show in Saratoga Springs, according to Just Jared.
"Ditmas" is the third single off of the band's third album, "Wilder Mind."
