Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date: 'Secret' KH3 Trailer Featuring 'Toy Story' Shown At D23 Expo? (VIDEO)

Disney's D23 Expo Japan at the Tokyo Disney Resort is underway, and with the announcement of "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX" for the PS3 comes rumblings about "Kingdom Hearts 3."

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is the most anticipated game installment Square Enix has to offer. So it wasn't a surprise when Internet starting buzzing about a "secret" trailer for KH3 was shown at D23 Expo.

Square Enix has released a trailer for "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX," but no KH3 trailer has made it on to the Internet. For now, here's a description of the alleged trailer shown at the expo, according to JushPushStart.com:

Sora is seen in various battle scenes, including in Traverse Town using what appears to be homing Fire spells, including a part where Sora's keyblade transforms and is able to shoot multiple Fire spells at once.

This was followed by two very interesting abilities, that appear to be like summons. Roll Splash brings a Peter Pan lighted boat pirate ship that looks like it's straight out of a Disney World attraction. This was followed by another ability-like summon known as Big Magic Mountain where the Big Thunder Mountain attraction is brought forth during a battle with the Rock Titan.

The "secret" trailer also allegedly featured "little green men." You know what that means: "TOY STORY"! The "Toy Story" series is arguably the most popular animated movies Disney has ever created. I wouldn't be surprised if they snuck Woody and Buzz into KH3.

However, Square Enix has not confirmed many details other than KH3 is in the works and Sora and Riku will be back. In an interview with IGN, Series producer Shinji Hashimoto did confirm the "Kingdom Hearts" characters have matured, and fans would be awarded for their patience with the series.

"The fact is that the main focus of the series is Sora and Riku; how their friendship develops, but also how they grow up," Hashimoto said. "After so many years, the players' personal growth is closely tied to the game's story at this point, so that's the most important thing about the series and what we want to put into the game. For Kingdom Hearts III, players will be able to resurrect the happy memories they have from being teenagers when playing Kingdom Hearts III. So it's very contemplative, and will match the personal experiences of much of the audience very closely."

"Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX" will be released exclusively for the PS3 in 2014. There is no set release date for "Kingdom Hearts III."
