Jason Priestley: 'Beverly Hills, 90210' Star Hospitalized, Thrown Off Horse On Set (TWEETS)

Jason Priestley was rushed to the hospital on Monday for a concussion the actor suffered after being thrown off a horse on the set of his new television show, "The Code," according to TMZ.

The "Beverly Hills, 90210" actor confirmed the incident on Twitter, thanking his fans for their wishes and stating that he has a history of concussions and has been advised by the doctor to get a few days of rest.

"Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words..." he wrote. "It's true, I did get thrown off a horse on set... I got my bell rung pretty good... Because I have a history of concussions, they took me to see a neurologist for an assessment. He advised I take a few days off as I had suffered a concussion... But I am definitely on the mend and looking forward to getting back to work with all the wonderful people on 'The Code,'" he said in a series of tweets on Wednesday.

This isn't Priestley's first serious accident. In 2002, the actor was badly injured in a race car crash that broke his back and caused a concussion. He had to undergo surgery on his feet, which were also fractured in the crash, according to CBS News.
