Arrow Season 2 Spoilers: Oliver and the Black Canary Work Together; See Pic From Stephen Amell

Last week we got our first glimpse of the Black Canary in action as she took on some guys that Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) was about to challenge.

This week, according to EW.com, fans got a TwitPic from Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen/The Green Arrow/The Vigilante, showing us the Canary once again. With Oliver. Together.

YES!

Judging from the pic, it seems the two have just finished taking on some bad guys who had the misfortune of going up against them at the same time.

As Entertainment Weekly pointed out, many fans were confused when it was announced Laurel’s sister Sara (Caity Lotz) would be the comic book heroine. However, showrunner Andrew Kreisberg has a message for fans.

Wait.

"Everyone knows that Laurel Lance is the Black Canary. That's the way it is in the comic books, but how we get from A to B is the story of our show," he explained to TVGuide.com. "In the same way that Oliver, when we meet him, is the vigilante, but this season he's going to becoming the Arrow, that's the step of his journey to eventually becoming the Green Arrow.

"Laurel Lance right now is a lawyer with a lot of heart and a lot of humanity and courage. But it takes more than that to put on the mask and go out and fight crime."

According to a recent interview Kreisberg did with EOnline, fans may not have to wait long for Laurel to become the heroine.

"I think as always with these things, I think we surprise people with how fast get to things," he said. "If it's a great idea, our instinct is always to pull it forward and figure out the repercussions of it afterwards. If it's a great idea, why wait?"

"Arrow" airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
