Red Velvet's Yeri, SHINee's Minho, and VIXX' N have been an ecstatic combination in MBC's "Show! Music Core." Fans are loving the mix of sweetness, dorkiness, and charisma from these three young idols.
Unfortunately, the show is set to try out a different format and will continue with a new set of hosts. Yeri, Minho, and N bade farewell to the audience Saturday.
Minho, who hosted the show for two-and-a-half years, thanked his present and previous co-hosts Yeri, N, Zico, and Kim So Hyun, reported AllKpop.
N also thanked his co-hosts and fans, saying, "I was happy to be with Minho and Yeri every week. Also, thank you to Starlight."
Meanwhile, Yeri was not able to hold back her tears as her first hosting gig ended. Members of f(x), who were coincidentally promoting "4 Walls" at the music show, comforted their fellow SM Entertainment talent.
"Show! Music Core" will no longer have a ranking system on its future episodes. Idols will continue to perform, but there will no awarding by the end of the show.
"Currently because of various album charts, the categorized total ranking is revealed in real-time. The truth is that the importance of revealing the ranking on broadcast has dropped," said MBC.
The program will instead focus on staging a variety of genres.
Actors Kim Min Jae and Kim Sae Ron will be hosting the program starting Nov. 21, accoridng to Soompi.
Sixteen-year-old Sae Ron played the leading roles in several projects, while 20-year-old Min Jae juggles acting and performing.
