As Kim Kardashian prepares to give birth next month, one of the questions most asked of her is what will she and her husband Kanye West name their second child? While her due date is approaching quickly, Kardashian said that she and West have still not chosen a name for their son.
"It's like the last thing that Kanye and I did when [2-year-old daughter] North was born," Kardashian told People. "We didn't name her for like seven days. I feel like it will just come to us. And there certainly won't be shortage of interesting names to choose from. "[My nephew Mason and niece Penelope] come up with different names all the time. I think it's so funny."
The "Keeping up with the Kardashians" star recently opened up about her fear of giving birth for the second time after she had a rough delivery with North. In a new blog post, Kardashian wrote about her "high-risk pregnancy," as HNGN previously reported. Kardashian suffers from preeclampsia, a serious condition in which you must deliver early and also can cause the placenta to stay attached to her uterus, like it did when she delivered North.
"With the issues I had last time, my risk of having preeclampsia and placenta accrete are increased and there's not a whole lot I can do to prevent it," she wrote. "So my anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery."
Kardashian also revealed that North is very excited to meet her still unnamed baby brother.
"We talk about baby brother all the time," Kardashian told E! News. "She's so sweet and yesterday she said, 'Mommy, can I give baby brother a kiss on your tummy?' and she kissed my stomach. She's super sweet. She has a hard time when I hold other babies but she's been getting a little bit better and I'm hoping that with her brother it's a whole new experience."
Kardashian is expected to give birth on Christmas Day.
