Bollywood superstar Salman Khan says that he is not eager to do Hollywood films and is instead more focused on the success of films in India.
"I like to work in India a lot and I like to deliver dialogues in Hindi. Suddenly, after Hindi dialogues since so many years, if I say dialogues in English, it would look a bit weird on me. I'm very happy here," Khan said Thursday, according to NDTV Movies.
There have been speculations that Khan may be approached for a role in "The Expendables 4" after he had exchanged greetings with Sylvester Stallone on Twitter, according to DESIblitz.
"They (Hollywood) work extremely hard but we don't need to work that hard here. I'll have to establish respect again and when I'm already receiving so much respect here then why? We work for respect; it's taken so many years to earn respect here; so I don't see any point," Khan told reporters during a press meeting organized for the success of his latest film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo," according to Hindustan Times.
The 49-year-old actor wants the Indian film industry to grow to such an extent that there will be no difference between Bollywood and Hollywood.
"If the film is related to us (India/Indians) then we will see. But I have no interest in doing Hollywood film. Our Hindi film industry should increase (grow) so much that there should be no comparison," he said, according to The Indian Express.
Khan also says he is very happy with the success of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo," which reportedly earned Rs 250 crore worldwide in the first week of its release.
