With winter right around the corner, the temperatures are dipping below freezing, making it difficult to imagine a poor stray animal out in the cold, trying to survive. So Canada's BC SPCA has stepped up with their new cat promotion called turn "Brrrs into Purrs," reports Van City Buzz.
The "Brrrs" acknowledges the current weather being a chilly low 40s during the day, dipping to the low 30s and even high 20s at night. With the mercury plummeting, so are the adoption prices during this promotion. From Nov. 20 through Nov. 30 you can find love at half the price for any cat at the BC SPCA, at all locations across the province. All 1400 adult cats over six months of age are eligible for the reduced-love pricing.
Not only will you be adopting a new best friend, giving them a forever home of love and warmth, but the adoption also opens the shelter to take in another cat to fill the space. This means that two lives are saved.
Even though the adoption pricing has dropped, the vet care hasn't. All cats come vaccinated, spayed or neutered and have a permanent ID through microchipping.
