A video of a chameleon popping bubbles has gone viral because of how adorable and happy the chameleon looks in it. The video was posted by the chameleon's owner, Nick Debakey, and has since gone unsurprisingly viral because apparently, a bubble-popping chameleon can effortlessly bring smiles to viewers, according to Huffington Post.
Debakey named his chameleon Laura, and he discovered his pet's fascination for bubbles when his mom started blowing bubbles towards Laura and she just perched up his hand and started clawing at the flying suds.
In the video, the chameleon can be seen opening and closing her claws to pop the next bubble it reaches. Debakey can also be heard encouraging Laura to just go ahead and pop the bubbles, also reminding the pet chameleon of what a good girl she is, according to The Daily Mail.
"A lot of my friends like Laura because they've never seen or held a chameleon in person. So I just posted the video for my friends to see and the next thing I knew it had over one thousand retweets and it just kept growing and growing," said Debakey, according to Independent.
Debakey has informed Laura that she has become an internet sensation and, according to him, the chameleon looked unperturbed by the news.
