Xbox has previously boasted that it seeks to dislodge competition by offering a bigger number and more gamer-focused titles than rival gaming platforms. And for gamers, this week is the best time to test the qualities of these games, which the company says comprise the greatest lineup in the gaming platform's history, as Xbox will be selling them with huge discounts this Black Friday.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 23, Xbox Live Gold members can enjoy 40 to 60 percent price cuts on selected titles (Gold members are entitled to as much as 10 percent discount). Fans will surely be delighted to know that popular games are included, such as "Forza Motorsport 6," "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition," "FIFA 16" and "Grand Theft Auto V." In addition, Xbox is including more than 150 other games that run both on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. A list of these games is available in this link.
Xbox is also expected to add more titles for its Black Friday weekend offering, and it will be announced on Nov. 27. Games like "Witcher 3" and "Rare Replay" could be included. The good news is that Xbox will continue its Black Friday promos until Cyber Monday.
For those itching to upgrade their membership to Xbox Live Gold, now would also be the best time to do so, as it will only cost a pittance: $1 for the first month of membership. One should remember that aside from playing within the most advanced multiplayer platform, Gold members are also entitled to get free games every month, Xbox said in an official statement.
