Every aspect of Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting's relationship happened at a fast pace, from their engagement, to their marriage, to their divorce, which is why she's wasting no time getting rid of the tattoo that's a constant reminder of her now ex-husband.
In March 2014, which was less than a year since she had met him, Cuoco got engaged to and married tennis pro Ryan Sweeting. She then got a tattoo of their wedding date in large roman numerals between her shoulder blades, according to Us Weekly.
Just a few months ago, in September, they announced that they were divorcing and the 29-year-old "Bing Bang Theory" actress quickly realized that the ink may have been a huge mistake.
"Thank you @nero_sct @studiocitytattoo for helping me right my wrongs," she captioned a photo of her getting the new cover up tattoo. "Note to self - do not mark your body with any future wedding dates. #under30mistakes #donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids."
She then posted a black and white photo of the beautiful moth she covered the date up with, and the artist did an incredible job because you'd have no idea there were Roman numerals anywhere underneath. "The deep, meaningful, larger than life meaning behind this beautiful piece of ink, is...it covered the last one," she wrote.
The couple allegedly ended their 21-month marriage because Sweeting had become addicted to pain killers, as HNGN previously reported. "[His personal struggle] turned their marriage into a nightmare," a source said at the time. "She supported him but he she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober."
