’50 Shades of Grey’ Movie Cast: Is Scott Eastwood the Next Christian Grey, Producers Approach Actor to Play the Kinky Billionaire?

Has "Team 50" found their next Christian Grey? According to Just Jared, Scott Eastwood is in the running to play the troubled billionaire in the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey." Ever since Charlie Hunnam backed out of the movie due to "an immersive TV schedule" which Universal Pictures and Focus Features said was prohibiting him from preparing for the role, the studios have been on a massive hunt for the next male lead.

Eastwood teased fans on Twitter asking them what they thought about the rumor but not saying if it was true or not.

"What is all this talk about 50 Shades of Grey?? What do you all think?? Let me know. #hype #eastwoodlivin."

The 27-year-old isn't the only hottie being considered for the role. According to reports, producers have approached fan-favorite Matt Bomer, Jamie Dornan, Alexander Skarsgard, Theo James and Christian Cooke to play the kinky billionaire.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, neither studios have confirmed who they have approached for the role. A source told the website that despite rumors Dakota Johnson will still play Anastasia Steele and won't be dropping out of the movie.

The source said Johnson was upset that Hunnam had dropped out but was excited to meet the actor who will sign on as Christian Grey. She is said to be helping producers find the next actor. According to E! Online, there are other names that have been rumored as serious contenders to star opposite the "Ben and Kate" actress.

A source told E! that producers are considering Billy Magnussen and Luke Bracey. Magnussen is a 28-year-old actor who recently was cast as a series regular on the upcoming HBO drama, "The Money." Bracey is a 24-year-old Australian actor best known for his role as Try Palmer in "Home and Away."

The source told E! that screen tests for the two would be taking place soon.

Do you think Scott Eastwood would make a good Christian Grey? Who do you want to replace Charlie Hunnam?
