Kim Kardashian's due date is inching closer and closer. As the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star entered her 36th week of pregnancy, she revealed that her unborn son is breech, which means the baby has not turned into the heads down position that is ideal for childbirth. In a post called "Heads Up!" on Kardashian's official blog, the mother of North West, 2, opened up about the difficult birth of her second child, according to Us Weekly.
"I've surrendered to the placenta issues and actually haven't been thinking too deeply about them lately," wrote Kardashian. "However, my latest concern is that my baby is breech, meaning he's in the wrong position for childbirth. His head is still up and it's supposed to be down. He was supposed to turn by 32 weeks. So now, I will have to get a C-section. Or so I thought!"
The wife of Kanye West then went on to talk about the plan for the birth of her second child. She wrote about her wish to have a natural birth and even revealed that her doctor, Paul Crane, was one of the few who still delivered babies breech so she is in good hands.
"I guess 4 percent of women are faced with [breech babies] — so, lucky me! It's been hard because I usually go to my mom or Kourtney [Kardashian] for baby and pregnancy advice, but they both — with nine total pregnancies! — have never experienced one of these crazy things," continued Kardashian, according to People.
Kardashian, whose due date is Christmas Day, as HNGN previously reported, told her fans that she was also trying "anything to still turn the baby," including "intensive chiropractic work."
"Please wish me luck and pray the baby turns!" she ended her post. "This whole delivery gives me anxiety, not gonna lie. I hope the baby turns and all goes well but I'm prepared for anything!"
