The first T20 of the three-match Twenty20 series between host Pakistan and England will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, United Arab Emirates Thursday.

The tourists, who defeated Pakistan by 3-1 in the recent One Day International (ODI) series, are looking to continue their winning momentum in the T20 series.
"We played some really good cricket throughout the one-dayers and we've got most of that squad for the Twenty20 so hopefully we can carry that form forward and put some really strong performances in," England's middle order batsman Joe Root said after the ODI series victory, according to the Daily Mail.
Pakistan, on the other side, is confident about making a comeback in the T20 series after an embarrassing ODI series defeat.
"We have been winning in the Twenty20 format, like we have been winning in Test matches. I believe this team has got more skills in Twenty20 [than in ODI], we are more combined as a team because we have been playing with each other [in this format] over the last couple of years. I feel we will put up a better show [than in the ODI series]," all rounder Mohammad Hafeez told reporters on Wednesday, according to gulfnews.com.
"We could have done better in the one-day international series against England but unfortunately we didn't play as well as our opponents. We have this series now to perform better and secure a good series win," fast blower Wahab Riaz said, according to The Nation.
